A CHO cell line has been created to stably express the full - length human CD64 (Uniprot: P12314-1) receptor. This cell line has different levels of CD64 expression (High, Medium, Low), which can be used to test whether an agonist antibody can enhance its agonistic activity in a CD64 - dependent manner.
Useful for cell-based CD64 binding assay
FCGR1A encodes a high-affinity receptor for the Fc region of IgG. It is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. This receptor has a high binding affinity for monomeric IgG, allowing it to efficiently capture and internalize immune complexes. It is involved in the initiation of immune responses, the activation of immune cells, and the regulation of inflammation. It also plays a role in antibody-mediated phagocytosis and the clearance of apoptotic cells.
