The Ba/F3-IL-5 Responsive Luciferase Reporter-Stable Cell Line is a murine Ba/F3 cell line that expresses human IL-5RA and human CSF2RB. This cell line responds to IL-5, and IL-5-induced luciferase activity can be inhibited by anti-IL-5 or anti-IL-5R neutralizing antibodies.
Drug screening and biological assays
IL - 5 (Interleukin - 5) is a cytokine that is primarily produced by Th2 cells and eosinophils. It acts on eosinophils to promote their growth, differentiation, and activation, and is involved in allergic responses, asthma, and the defense against parasitic infections.
