The Human AMY3R (CTR&RAMP3) (Luc) BHK 21 Reporter Cell was engineered to express the CREB signaling response element and the human AMY3R generated by co-expressing the full-length human calcitonin receptor (CTR) (Uniprot: P30988-2) and the full-length human receptor activity-modifying protein 3 (RAMP3) (Uniprot: O60896) with an mGFP tag. This cell line can drive luciferase expression in response to amylin receptor (AMYR) agonists or amylin stimulation. In the absence of agonists or amylin, the AMY3R receptor is inactive, resulting in low luminescence. In the presence of agonists or amylin, dose-dependent AMY3R pathway-activated luminescence can be detected.
Screen for AMYR agonists that can bind and activate AMY3R.
AMY3R is not a standard gene name but may refer to a complex involving the Calcitonin Receptor (CTR) and Receptor Activity-Modifying Protein 3 (RAMP3). This complex modulates the function of CTR.
