A CHO cell line has been created to stably express the full - length human CD32b (Uniprot: P31994-1) receptor. This cell line has different levels of CD32b expression (High, Medium, Low), which can be used to test whether an agonist antibody can enhance its agonistic activity in a CD32b - dependent manner.
Useful for cell-based CD32b binding assay
FCGR2B encodes an inhibitory receptor for the Fc region of IgG. It is expressed on B cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells. This receptor contains an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) in its cytoplasmic tail. When the receptor is engaged by immune complexes, it recruits phosphatases that inhibit the activation signals generated by other immune receptors, thereby dampening the immune response. It plays a crucial role in maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmune diseases.
