A stable CHO cell line expressing the human GPRC5D receptor. This cell line is useful for studying the interactions of GPRC5D with its ligands and its role in various cellular processes.
Binding assay by FACS and cell based ELISA.
The GPRC5D gene encodes a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, type C, retinoid-related orphan receptor (ROR) subfamily. It is mainly expressed in the skin, hair follicles, and some immune cells. The function of GPRC5D is not well characterized, but it may be involved in cell differentiation, proliferation, and immune regulation. Recent studies have shown that GPRC5D is a potential target for cancer immunotherapy, particularly in multiple myeloma.
