The CHO-K1-CD80-Stable Cell Line consists of recombinant CHO-K1 cells that stably overexpress human CD80 on their surface. The surface expression of CD80 is confirmed by FACS analysis.
Drug screening and biological assays
CD80 (B7-1) is a co-stimulatory molecule expressed on antigen-presenting cells (APCs). It binds to CD28 on T cells to promote activation, or to CTLA-4 to deliver inhibitory signals. CD80/CD86-CD28/CTLA-4 axis is critical for immune tolerance and autoimmunity.
