The CHO-K1-cyno CTLA4-Stable Cell Line consists of recombinant CHO-K1 cells that stably overexpress cynomolgus cytotoxic T-lymphocyte associated protein 4 (CTLA4) on their surface.
Drug screening and biological assays
CTLA-4 (Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Antigen 4) is a key immune checkpoint receptor expressed on activated T cells. It binds to B7 molecules (CD80/CD86) on antigen-presenting cells with higher affinity than CD28, delivering an inhibitory signal that suppresses T cell activation and prevents autoimmune responses. Mutations in CTLA-4 are associated with autoimmune diseases such as type 1 diabetes and autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome.
