Introduction

A CHO-K1 cell line has been engineered to stably overexpress human dopamine receptor D2s (D2s) on its surface. This cell line contains high levels of the G protein Gαi, which is crucial for coupling with the receptor in downstream signaling pathways. This variant encodes a 414 aa isoform (short), which is 29 aa shorter than the long one.
