The CHO-K1-KIR-Stable Cell Line consists of recombinant CHO-K1 cells that stably overexpress human killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor (KIR) on their surface.
Drug screening and biological assays
KIR (Killer-cell Immunoglobulin-like Receptors) are a family of inhibitory/activating receptors expressed on NK cells and some T cells. They recognize MHC class I molecules and regulate NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity. KIR polymorphisms influence susceptibility to infections, autoimmune diseases, and cancer.
