The CHO-K1-Tim3-Stable Cell Line consists of recombinant CHO-K1 cells that stably overexpress human hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2 (TIM3) on their surface. The surface expression of TIM3 is confirmed by FACS analysis.
Drug screening and biological assays
TIM-3 (T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-3) is an immune checkpoint receptor expressed on exhausted T cells, NK cells, and macrophages. It binds to galectin-9, HMGB1, or CEACAM-1, delivering inhibitory signals that promote T cell apoptosis and immune suppression. TIM-3 is a potential target for reversing T cell exhaustion in cancer and chronic infections.
