The Human c-MET (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell, expressing human c-MET, has been engineered to express a signaling response element driving luciferase expression systems. When stimulated with human HGF protein, the HGF/c-MET interaction drives RE-mediated luminescence. Neutralization of the biological effect of human HGF protein by corresponding antibodies results in a decrease in luminescence.
Screen for neutralizing antibodies blocking the stimulation of human HGF protein.
MET proto-oncogene, receptor tyrosine kinase (MET) is a receptor for hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), involved in cell proliferation, migration, and morphogenesis during embryonic development and tissue repair.
