The Human IL-1 R1 & IL-1 RAcP (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell has been designed to express the NF-κB signaling response element. Stimulation with human IL-1 alpha or IL-1 beta protein triggers receptor-mediated signaling, resulting in NF-κB-mediated luminescence. Neutralizing the biological effect of the ligand-receptor interaction with corresponding antibodies decreases luminescence.
Screen for neutralizing antibodies blocking the stimulation of human IL-1 alpha or IL-1 beta protein
IL - 1 R1 (Interleukin 1 Receptor Type 1) is a cell - surface receptor that binds interleukin - 1 (IL - 1) cytokines. IL - 1 RAcP (Interleukin 1 Receptor Accessory Protein) is a co - receptor that associates with IL - 1 R1 to form a functional signaling complex, mediating the biological effects of IL - 1 such as inflammation, immune response, and fever.
