The Human IL-23 R/IL-12 R beta 1 (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell has been engineered to express the STAT3 signaling response element, as well as the full-length human IL-23 R (Uniprot: Q5VWK5-1) and IL-12 R beta 1 (Uniprot: P42701-1) receptors. Stimulation with human IL-23 protein activates receptor-mediated signaling, driving STAT3-mediated luminescence. Neutralization of the biological effect of the ligand-receptor interaction with corresponding antibodies reduces luminescence.
Screen for anti-human IL-23 neutralizing antibody.
IL - 23 R and IL - 12 R beta 1 are subunits of the receptor complexes for interleukin - 23 (IL - 23) and interleukin - 12 (IL - 12), respectively. These cytokines are important for the differentiation and function of T helper 1 (Th1) and Th17 cells, and are involved in immune responses against pathogens and autoimmune diseases.
