The Human IL-31 RA/OSMR (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell has been developed to express the STAT3 signaling response element, as well as the full-length human IL-31 RA (Uniprot: Q8NI17-1) and OSMR (Uniprot: Q99650-1) receptors. Stimulation with human IL-31 protein activates the IL-31/IL-31 RA interaction, driving STAT3-mediated luminescence. Neutralization of the biological effect of human IL-31 protein with corresponding antibodies decreases luminescence.
Screen for neutralizing antibodies blocking the stimulation of human IL-31 protein.
IL - 31 RA (Interleukin 31 Receptor Alpha) and OSMR (Oncostatin M Receptor) form a receptor complex that binds interleukin - 31 (IL - 31). IL - 31 is associated with skin inflammation and pruritus (itching), and the receptor complex mediates its biological effects in skin cells and immune cells.
