The Human IL-4 R alpha/IL-13 R alpha 1 (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell, which has endogenous IL-4 R alpha and IL-13 R alpha 1 expression, has been engineered to express the STAT6 signaling response element. Stimulation with human IL-4 or IL-13 protein activates receptor-mediated signaling, driving STAT6-mediated luminescence. Neutralization of the biological effect of human IL-4 or IL-13 protein with corresponding antibodies reduces luminescence.
Screen for neutralizing antibodies blocking the stimulation of human IL-4 or IL-13 protein.
IL - 4 R alpha and IL - 13 R alpha 1 are subunits of receptor complexes that bind interleukin - 4 (IL - 4) and interleukin - 13 (IL - 13), respectively. These cytokines are involved in the regulation of Th2 - type immune responses, allergic reactions, and airway inflammation.
