The Human IL-7 R alpha/CD132 (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell has been engineered to express the STAT5 signaling response element, as well as the full-length human IL-7 R alpha (Uniprot: P16871-1) and CD132 (Uniprot: P31785-1) receptors. Stimulation with human IL-7 protein activates the IL-7 R alpha/CD132 interaction, driving STAT5-mediated luminescence. Neutralization of the biological effect of human IL-7 protein with corresponding antibodies decreases luminescence.
Screen for neutralizing antibodies blocking the stimulation of human IL-7 protein
IL - 7 R alpha (Interleukin 7 Receptor Alpha) combines with the common gamma chain (CD132) to form the interleukin - 7 receptor complex. IL - 7 is crucial for the development, survival, and proliferation of T cells and B cells, especially during early immune system development.
