Background
NKp46 (Natural Cytotoxicity Triggering Receptor 1, NCR1) is an activating receptor expressed on NK cells and some innate lymphoid cells. It recognizes viral hemagglutinins and tumor-associated antigens, triggering cytotoxicity and cytokine production. NKp46 is critical for NK cell-mediated antiviral and antitumor immunity.
