This HEK293 reporter cell line expresses the CREB signaling response element and the full-length human PTH1R receptor (Uniprot: Q03431). Luciferase expression is driven by PTH1R agonists or PTH stimulation. In the absence of agonist or PTH, the PTH1R receptor is not activated, and luminescence is low. In the presence of agonist or PTH, PTH1R pathway-activated luminescence can be detected in a dose-dependent manner.
Screen for agonists that can bind and activate PTH1R
PTH1R (Parathyroid Hormone 1 Receptor) is a G protein-coupled receptor that binds parathyroid hormone (PTH) and regulates calcium and phosphorus homeostasis.
