The Human TACI (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell was engineered to express both the NF-κB signaling response element and the full-length human TACI receptor (Uniprot: O14836-1). Stimulation with human APRIL or BAFF protein can drive NF-κB-mediated luminescence. Neutralization of the ligand-receptor interaction by corresponding antibodies or fusion proteins results in decreased luminescence.
Screen for neutralizing antibodies or fusion proteins blocking the stimulation of human APRIL or BAFF protein.
TACI (Transmembrane Activator and CAML Interactor) is a cell - surface receptor expressed on B cells and some T - cell subsets. It binds to cytokines such as BAFF (B - cell Activating Factor) and APRIL (A Proliferation - Inducing Ligand), and is involved in B - cell development, activation, and antibody production, as well as in the regulation of immune tolerance.
