This HEK293 reporter cell line expresses the Smad signaling response element driving luciferase expression. When stimulated with TGF-beta (TGF-beta 1/2/3) protein, receptor-mediated signaling drives Smad-mediated luminescence. Neutralization of the biological effect of the ligand-receptor interaction by corresponding antibodies results in decreased luminescence.
Screen for neutralizing antibodies blocking the ligand-receptor interaction.
TGF-beta R (Transforming Growth Factor-beta Receptor) is a family of receptors that bind TGF-beta ligands. They regulate cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis, playing crucial roles in development, tissue homeostasis, and disease.
