This HEK293 reporter cell line expresses the STAT5 signaling response element and the full-length human TPO R receptor (Uniprot: P40238-1). Luciferase expression is driven by TPO R agonists or TPO. In the absence of agonist or TPO, the TPO R receptor is not activated, and luminescence is low. In the presence of agonist or TPO, TPO R pathway-activated luminescence can be detected in a dose-dependent manner.
Screen for agonists that can bind and activate TPO R
TPO R (Thrombopoietin Receptor) is a receptor for thrombopoietin, which regulates platelet production and megakaryocyte development.
