This HEK293 reporter cell line expresses the SRE signaling response element and the full-length human TrkA receptor (Uniprot: P04629-1). When stimulated with human NGF protein, the NGF/TrkA interaction drives SRE-mediated luminescence. Neutralization of the biological effect of human NGF protein by corresponding antibodies results in decreased luminescence.
Screen for neutralizing antibodies blocking the stimulation of human NGF protein.
TrkA is a receptor tyrosine kinase that binds nerve growth factor (NGF) and regulates neuronal survival, differentiation, and synapse formation.
