This HEK293 reporter cell line expresses the TCF/LEF signaling response element driving luciferase expression, designed to monitor the activity of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. When stimulated with human Wnt protein, receptor-mediated signaling drives TCF/LEF-mediated luminescence. Inhibition of the biological effect of human Wnt protein by corresponding inhibitors results in decreased luminescence.
Monitor Wnt signaling pathway activity.
TCF/LEF (T-cell factor/lymphoid enhancer-binding factor) is a family of transcription factors that regulate gene expression in response to Wnt signaling, playing a role in development and cancer.
