Introduction

The HEK293-TCF/LEF-Reporter Cell Line (Wnt Signaling Pathway) is designed for monitoring the activity of the Wnt/b-catenin signaling pathway. It contains a firefly luciferase gene under the control of TCF/LEF responsive elements stably integrated into HEK293 cells. This cell line is validated for the response to the stimulation of mouse Wnt3a and to the treatment with an inhibitor of Wnt/b-catenin signaling pathway.

Background

TCF7 (T - Cell Factor 7) is a member of the TCF/LEF family of transcription factors. These factors interact with β - catenin in the Wnt signaling pathway and regulate the expression of Wnt target genes, playing important roles in cell fate determination, tissue development, and cancer.
