The CHO-K1-CD47-Stable Cell Line consists of recombinant CHO-K1 cells that stably overexpress human CD47 on their surface. The surface expression of CD47 is confirmed by FACS analysis.
Drug screening and biological assays
CD47 is a “don’t eat me” signal expressed on normal cells and tumor cells. It binds to SIRPα on macrophages, inhibiting phagocytosis. Tumor cells overexpress CD47 to evade immune surveillance, making it a target for cancer immunotherapy (e.g., anti-CD47 antibodies).
