A Jurkat reporter cell line that expresses the NFAT response element driving luciferase - expressing systems and the full - length human CD64 (Uniprot: P12314-1) has been engineered. This cell line can be used to evaluate the ADCP activity of antibodies in the presence of corresponding target cells.
Determination of ADCP activity induced by antibodies
FCGR1A encodes a high-affinity receptor for the Fc region of IgG. It is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. This receptor has a high binding affinity for monomeric IgG, allowing it to efficiently capture and internalize immune complexes. It is involved in the initiation of immune responses, the activation of immune cells, and the regulation of inflammation. It also plays a role in antibody-mediated phagocytosis and the clearance of apoptotic cells.
