CHOK1 cell line stable expressing exogenous human FIBCD1-FGL1 fusion gene
Drug screening and biological assays
Fibrinogen-Like protein 1 (FGL1) is a liver specific secreted protein which belongs to the fibrinogen superfamily. FGL1 plays an important role in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma, with its elevated level in plasma of cancer patient indicating poor prognoses. Further studies showed that FGL1 can inhibit antigen-specific T cell activation through binding with immune checkpoint inhibiting molecule LAG3 through its fibrinogen-like domain independent of MHCII molecules.
