The CHO-K1-Lag3-Stable Cell Line consists of recombinant CHO-K1 cells that stably overexpress human lymphocyte activating 3 (LAG3) on their surface. The surface expression of LAG3 is confirmed by FACS analysis.
Drug screening and biological assays
LAG-3 (Lymphocyte-activation gene 3) is a transmembrane protein expressed on activated T cells, NK cells, and B cells. It binds to MHC class II molecules with high affinity, inhibiting T cell proliferation and cytokine production. LAG-3 synergizes with PD-1 to promote T cell exhaustion in chronic infections and cancer, making it a potential target for immunotherapy.
