The CHO-K1-PD-L1-Stable Cell Line consists of recombinant CHO-K1 cells that stably overexpress human programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1) on their surface. The surface expression of PD-L1 is confirmed by FACS analysis. This cell line is recommended for cell-based binding assays to screen antibodies against PD-L1 or to measure the binding affinity between PD-L1 and anti-PD-L1 antibodies.
Drug screening and biological assays
PDL1 (Programmed Death-Ligand 1) is an immune checkpoint protein that is expressed on the surface of tumor cells and some immune cells. It binds to its receptor PD-1 on T-cells, inhibiting T-cell activation and promoting immune tolerance, which helps tumors evade immune surveillance.
