This Jurkat reporter cell line expresses the NFAT response element driving luciferase expression and the full-length human PD-1 receptor (Uniprot: Q15116). It can be used to evaluate the potency of PD-1 blockade. When co-cultured with target cells expressing human PD-L1, the PD-1/PD-L1 interaction inhibits TCR signaling and NFAT-mediated luminescence. Blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 interaction with anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 antibodies releases the inhibitory signal, resulting in TCR activation and NFAT-mediated luminescence.
Screen for anti-human PD-1 or anti-human PD-L1 antibody.
PD-1 (Programmed Death-1) is an immune checkpoint receptor expressed on activated T-cells. It binds to its ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2, inhibiting T-cell activation and promoting immune tolerance, which is exploited by tumors to evade immune surveillance.
